I heard about this first on my RomSF list this morning. They're renaming the Southern Vampire series True Blood, but here's hoping they can make the series work without changing too much of it.

And for those into vampires, make sure to catch Blood Ties the Tanya Huff detective series (okay, it does have a vampire as one of the main characters, he's also a romance novelist!) when it premieres on Lifetime next month.

I'm still waiting

So, watching the rain pour down outside my work window, I'm still wondering...

Whither Winter?

I know, I know, north of me is getting socked hard, but down here? We've had nothing. Some snow this morning that made the commute slow, but now it's simply rain rain rain.

*le sigh*

I guess this will be one of those winters where we never get the true Nor'easter that socks it to coastal New England. I'd still love at least an inch that lasted more than half a day, tho.

So not only have I finished the move to Dreamhost, I've also finished reinstalling Movable Type and reimporting all my sfad.org entries. I have not reimported the entries for my dead blogs, and I've deleted the Weight Watchers blog. I'll need to edit my template here that links to it, and the main page of my site. One of these days. ;)

Maybe I'll start posting here again. Yeah....we'll see.

Changing Hosts

Sometime this month, I'll be moving my website and blogs and everything over to a new webhost.

While this should coincide with a nice new web design, I just don't have the time/energy/drive to do it these days. This blog will exist, I know that much. My other, now defunct blogs, will likely vanish into the ether. and probably get a nice, new designed 404 page to mark them as such.

Everything else is so outdated, so there's little point in doing anything but archiving.

But who knows? Maybe I'll change my mind and through the non-blog bits back up.

Oh yes, I'm going to Dreamhost. I need the larger disk space for all my WOW screenshots. Heh.
